Shipwreck researcher and diving enthusiast, Ric Mixter shares 2 hours of stimulating lecture and music about the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald and his visit to the Fitzgerald in this unique presentation featuring musician and singer Dan Hall.


Ric Mixter has dived over 100 shipwrecks in the Great Lakes, including the Edmund Fitzgerald in 1994.


Ric has visited some 50 ships lost to the storms and will feature exclusive interviews with men who made it through storms in 1913 and 1940. He has produced over 30 programs for PBS and the Outdoor Channel, and appeared as a shipwreck expert on the History and Discovery Channels. Ric is an energetic story teller who uses video like no other presenter can and was awarded the 2009 Award for Historic Interpretation by the Association for Great Lakes Maritime Historians.
